Cookie policy

vveb.top sets a small number of cookies, all to keep you signed in or to remember a choice. It sets no advertising cookies.

Last updated: 18-Oct-2026

1. What cookies and browser storage are

A cookie is a small text file that a site asks your browser to keep. Browsers also offer storage such as localStorage and IndexedDB that works in a similar way. We call all of these "cookies" below, and we list each one we use.

2. Our approach

vveb.top uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember a choice you made. It sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies. Because every cookie below is needed for a service you asked for, we do not show a cookie banner.

3. People who tap a short link

A redirect through vveb.top sets no cookie and reads none. If a visitor lands on the escape page, the only outside request it makes is for fonts from Google. Clicks are recorded without cookies, as the privacy policy explains.

4. Cookies we set

NameWhat it doesLasts
vveb_sessionKeeps you signed in. A signed token that proves your sign-in. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite Lax.Up to 180 days, or until you sign out
vveb_firebase_tokenA short-lived sign-in token, used only while the longer session cookie is not available. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite Lax.1 hour

5. Browser storage we use

NameWhat it doesLasts
vveb-themeRemembers light or dark mode, so pages open in the look you chose.Until you clear it
emailForSignInHolds the address you typed while you wait for a sign-in email link, so the link can finish signing you in on this browser. It is removed once you are signed in.Until sign-in completes
Firebase sign-in stateKeys that begin with firebase hold the state of the sign-in service while you sign in.Managed by Firebase

6. Other companies

Two outside services touch your browser when you use vveb.top:

  • Google Fonts serves our typefaces. It sets no cookie on our pages, but your browser contacts Google, which receives your IP address and browser details.
  • Google sign-in runs on Google's own pages when you choose it, and Google may set its own cookies there. See Google's policies for those.

The privacy policy explains how these services handle data.

7. Your choices

You can see, block and delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block or delete the session cookie, you will be signed out and will need to sign in again. If you clear vveb-theme, pages return to your device's light or dark setting. Blocking the sign-in storage can stop email-link and Google sign-in from finishing.

Because we do not track you across sites, the browser setting called Do Not Track changes nothing for us.

8. Changes and questions

If we add a cookie, we will update this page and its date before we do. Questions go to support@vveb.top.
